How we keep reviews real.

Every review on clientsreview.me comes from someone who proved they’re the client. This page explains how that works, what professionals can and can’t do, and how we handle problems.

Every reviewer is checked

They confirm their email with a one-time code, Google or Facebook before they can post.

Professionals can’t remove reviews

They can reply once. They can’t edit, hide or delete a review.

Paying changes nothing

No plan removes, reorders or re-rates a review.

Every review has a receipt

Tap the seal on any review to see how it was verified.

How a review gets verified

  1. 1The professional asksThey send a review request to the client’s email from their dashboard, or share their review link.
  2. 2The client proves it’s themWith a one-time code, Google or Facebook. For a request, it has to be the same email address the request went to.
  3. 3The review goes live with a receiptThe receipt records each step with its date. Anyone can open it from the seal on the review.

What the labels on a review mean

Verified client
The professional sent a review request, and the reviewer confirmed the same email address it went to.
Verified email
The reviewer came through the professional’s review link and confirmed their email. There was no request to match it to.

A profile link the reviewer added. We don’t check it.

Where the professional worked when they helped this client. Reviews stay with the professional through their career.
Reply from the professional
Each review can have one public reply from the professional. The reviewer is emailed when it’s posted.

Every review has a receipt

Tap the seal on any review to see:

  • who asked for it, and when
  • how the reviewer proved it was them, with their email partly hidden
  • when it was published, and whether it’s been edited
  • which company and year the review is about
  • a review ID you can quote if you report it

What professionals can and can’t do

They can

  • Ask any client for a review
  • Share a review link
  • Reply once, publicly, to each review
  • Report a review that breaks our rules
  • Show their reviews on their website, email signature and socials

They can’t

  • Edit, hide or delete a client’s review
  • Review themselves, or ask staff, family or friends to
  • Offer money, gifts or discounts for a review
  • Pay us to remove, reorder or re-rate reviews
  • Post more than one reply to a review

On the Free plan, a profile shows its 10 oldest reviews. Which reviews show depends on the date only, never the rating.

If you’re reviewing someone

Only the client can review

If you work with the professional, are related to them or compete with them, please don’t leave a review.

Your review stays yours

Edit or delete it any time from Reviews you’ve written. The professional can’t change it.

You choose your name

First name and initial, full name, or just “Verified client”.

Your track record, your call

Tapping your name shows when you started, how many reviews you’ve written and the ratings you’ve given. Which professionals you reviewed stays private unless you choose to show it.

Some things are always private

We never show your email address, mobile number or private feedback.

Reports and removals

Anyone can report a review, including the professional. We never remove a review just because it’s negative.

We remove reviews that

  • aren’t from a real client
  • come from staff, family, competitors or anyone paid or given something
  • are about a different professional
  • are offensive, harassing or discriminatory
  • share private information
  • are spam, or break the law

We don’t remove reviews because

  • they’re negative or critical
  • the professional disagrees with them
  • the professional asks, or pays
  • the professional has moved to another firm
  1. 1Anyone taps Report on the review and tells us what’s wrong.
  2. 2The review stays up while we check, unless it shares private information.
  3. 3A person decides within 5 business days and lets the person who reported it know.

Independence

  • Paying never changes a rating, the order reviews appear in, or whether a review shows.
  • Reviews show newest first, whatever their rating.
  • The profile on our home page is picked at random.
